Daína Chaviano is… Daína Chaviano. Such an apparently simple sentence, however, hides an existential complexity that can be applied to few people, much more if they are "creators", whatever art they profess. This means that when the life and work of a writer can be defined simply by mentioning her name, it is because she is inscribed in that particular Olympus that is universal culture, and that inscription occurs essentially due to humanistic coherence, the contribution to the so complex panorama of the universal artistic and cultural creation, and the very personal footprint left as part of that elite that is configuring with its work the different stages that make up the spirit of a nation.
